I was sobbing in the first 6%. Confused by 33% because what do you mean it came full circle and I'm only a third of the way through? 40% cleared that up and was pretty dang dark, but also not? Still processing the mixed feelings cause a woman scorned.... 63% has me scared out of my mind for Ivy and the kids, half because early COVID, and half because of Mark's drunk, abusive self. Glad he died. 78% had me mad at Selena for not texting her sister first. And everything after 82% was such an amazing wrap up for this story!
My biggest questions:
What happened to Stephen? Does this have to do with Jayde's previous mug shot?
How in the heck did Elizabeth get over the indirect cause of Riley's death and fell in love with Jayde? I could never, but you do you, I guess? 😅 Talk about DARK.
This was such a different read for me from my recent reads. I definitely needed it, needed all the suspense, and am so glad I got to be on the ARC team! Now I need to read more of Allasandra's books!
