This was my first book by Sara Cate and it won't be my last! The Daddy's Girl is a Contemporary Dark Taboo Romance that explores the relationship between a young woman and her godfather! You have Age Gap, Tab0o, Spice, S3x Clubs, Fathers Best friend, and much more.
Watching Amelia and Matis find love was so heartwarming. He had known Amelia her whole life and never once thought of her that way until the day she made it clear (as a woman) that she wanted to be with him and loved him. Things were not easy and Matis tried to avoid starting anything with Amelia not only for her sake, but also to not lose the trust of her father, his best friend. As things progress, he loses the battle with his mind because his heart takes over and there is no stopping the love that breaks loose for them both.
I enjoyed this story and was genuinely happy for their ending. They had a rough road there with a lot of sad moments qnd uncertain, but their love was full of hope. which was magical and pure. Something I think we all hope to find in a partner. I recommend this for all my book friends who love a story that has you rooting for love no matter the cost, while finding that your s3x life can be just as fun in the process.
