While I liked Raven’s Cry, I loved this one. As the Aspects connect more as a family of sorts, I feel more connected to them. They go through a lot of difficult things, whether it’s loss, having to face their own possible demise during the many battles they have to face, or facing losing those they love, and I’m over hoping and praying that they make it through. And, yes, I realize they are fictional characters! I also have been pleasantly surprised by those enemies who end up being allies and allies who end up being enemies (I’m not telling you who, so that you are also surprised!) because when you don’t see it coming, it is the best thing ever! I can’t wait to see what happens next with the Orphans!
