Book: Tempt

I absolutely love this series!
Luca and Eissa were interesting side characters in the earlier books, supporting the other couples as their relationships grew. So when we got a preview of their “only one night” hookup in Vegas, I knew Tempt would be amazing!
Eissa’s need to be noble in this book was frustrating (in a good way). Given his past and the current situation on Erethar, it’s understandable why he tries to keep Luca at arm’s length, but I kept yelling, “stop trying to fight the bond!” Luca’s openness and vulnerability were such a brilliant counterbalance, especially as he was willing to speak up about how Eissa treated him.
I know this has been a consistent part of my reviews for this series, but can we talk about how incredible the worldbuilding is? With Eissa as one of the main characters and Tempt primarily on Erethar, we got to dive so much deeper into Vyastil culture and history. So many things big and small are revealed in this one, and it is exciting to see the overarching plot move forward.
And that epilogue? Yeah…I am beyond excited about the next book!
