I was so excited to read Sarah and Luca’s story after Katie and Michael in Book 1 “A Dangerous Kind of Love”, and I was not disappointed! When I found out that Sarah knew about Michael and Luca towards the end of Book 1, I could not wait to find out how she became so ok with it considering she was having second thoughts about Michael when Katie started to get serious with him so quickly. This novella explored Sarah’s character in such a way that my heart just broke for her, and I was so grateful that Luca is the kind of guy who would go to great lengths to protect her, which is exactly what Sarah needs. Not to mention her parents, they were so adorable and her father so protective, he had already gone to great lengths to protect his daughter and now he knows she has Luca who will do the same. The story still held the same kind of rom-com humour as Book 1 but it was definitely so much more heartfelt and I loved every minute of it!
