Take the Floor is a sweet contemporary romance between two ballroom dancers, Leo and Sophie, as they navigate the change in their relationship as they move from competitive rivals to competitive partners. The story takes dance as foreplay pretty seriously and balances the story-telling, the romance, and the actual dancing competitions fairly well. I enjoyed the dual-pov between Leo and Sophie especially with the changes in their evolving relationship. Their ability to challenge one another on and off the floor while also supporting one another as they embark on their partnership is cute to see. The overall story is a quick read and easy to fall in love with.
