Chiara Forestieri is an amazing author, that still did not prepare me for Venom Sweeter Than Honey. This polyamory fantasy romance was a rollercoaster from the very first page to the last. Yes this is part of a series but it is a standalone. This story is featuring an exiled goddess, the God of Death and Endings, and an ex-military cowboy with a troubled past.
I absolutely loved this book the emotions of every character could be felt so strongly throughout everything they went through. It was such a wild ride and the twists and turns you just never saw coming. You thought you predicted somethings but it was never that way she would throw a whole other curve ball at you that would just take you by surprise.
It's so hard to tell you much more without giving things away; there are so many amazing details in this book, little things that add up to such big events. Things that will have you just gasping or even ready to throw your book. (Please don't do this if you are using an electronic device, or well even a physical copy because that's book abuse)
This book is a must-read if you love fantasy romance. Please know however this is meant for 18+ and the triggers should be taken seriously. Your well being matters. (even if the trigger warnings are your menu still read through them)
I hope you love this as much as I did because this was such an amazing read and it definitely deserves so much love.
