Thank you to Valentine PR for the ARC — this review is my honest opinion.
I had the privilege of listening to this audiobook before its release. Wow, this audiobook totally blew me away. Normally, I skip these kinds of books, but this one totally impressed me. It was both emotional and humorous. This is the first book I've read in this series. I had no clue what was coming, but man, that hit me hard emotionally. Bella Matthews did an awesome job making these characters easy to like. Typically, stories of this kind imply a woman has to be unpleasant to be independent, yet this story did not follow that pattern. I appreciate that Bella portrayed Oliva's character as strong and independent while keeping her likeable.
Samantha Brentmoor and Corvin King truly did an incredible job of bringing these characters to life. Their performances made the story even stronger and more engaging. I recommend listening to this audiobook because it was truly amazing and captivating. If you enjoy a love story that is spicy, emotional, and full of humor, this is definitely a must-read.
