I’ve long been a fan of Amish romances, so when I got the chance to read this novel, I jumped on it. This one was longer than others I’ve read and was jam-packed with plot twists, slow-burn romance, lost kittens, and more. I wanted to shake both Sam and Jane many times throughout the novel, I was pleased with how it all turned out. This is the 11th book in The Heart of the Amish series, but can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read any of the other books in the series (yet!) but I had no problem understanding the relationships between the characters. If you also like Amish romance, this is a good one to pick up.
