This is a really sweet MM romance with a great mix of tropes; brother's best friend, fake dating and a bit of forced proximity thrown in. I love how obsessed Austin is with Levi; he's not devious in his attempts to get closer to Levi, just a little bit sneaky in the best way. It's fairly low angst, fast paced and has a great mix of cute moments, great humour (Austin's reaction to Peanut genuinely made me laugh) and both characters overcoming what has held them back in the past.
There were some great side characters too; Cole is a fantastic enabler! I'd have loved a little more resolution with Brogan though as it felt like there was a little unfinished business there. Similarly I really wanted to get to the bottom of what was happening with Charlie and Claire but as this is part of a shared universe their story may well be in another book. The Darwood family were all really sweet and supportive and I'd love to read more about them.

3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
