Lily & Thorne was a sweet, emotional, and spicy romance that touched me on a deeply personal level. Having experienced infertility and a miscarriage myself—and never being able to have children—I truly felt Lily’s pain.
Her exhaustion, grief, and uncertainty were portrayed in a way that felt incredibly real. I especially connected with the line, “I’m tired, creatively spent, and I feel like I’ve hopped on a hamster wheel for a life I’m not even sure I want.”
I also loved the reminder that a partner should add to your happiness, not become the sole reason for it. This story beautifully balances romance and spice with heavier themes of loss, identity, and rediscovering what you want from life.
