This is my favourite of the series so far as Madison's arrangement with her bosses develops into something more with the threat of the stalker adding some great tension into the plot as everyone becomes a suspect with more names being added to the list. The chapters at the gala were my highlight; I liked seeing the guys doing something out with their usual activities with Madison and what their relationships were like with other people. Kayla did steal the show though; she was such a breath of fresh air and her banter with Blake had me cackling.
Noah is breaking my heart; I was devastated at Cooper's actions at the time (as he was still flip flopping about admitting he had feelings for Madison and he came across as pretty cavalier compared to the others when it comes to being in public spaces) but I appreciated how he himself realised what he had done to Noah in particular. I would have loved more scenes with just the guys though as I like their found family dynamic as well as them all realising they want more than just a physical relationship with Madison.
I'm not quite sure where we are on the timescale of them being together but it's still very much an instalove story and super spicy; if you want spice with a dash of plot then this is for you. There is a little more character development as we find out some of the dating history of the guys but as this is now book three I was looking for more of that in between all the spicy times which were all starting to merge together. Madison can't even walk into a room at this point without something happening; my focus was starting to drift as I wanted to know more about the other plotlines at this stage in the series. That being said the audio did keep me engaged as the narrators are all excellent and my headphones were melting as the chemistry is on fire; JF Harding's Noah was probably my favourite but I really enjoy Michelle Sparks too as she really brought out the vulnerability in Madison's heart vs head conflict.
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
