Book: Sundered Sun by Ann Glimmer

Sundered Sun....where do I even begin? This book was SOOOOOO GOOOD!!! It took me a little bit to get into it at first only because, I had kind of kept going back to reread a few pages a couple different times. There were a few moments that my brain was a little confused lol! But once it finally had the ahh ha moment, it was full speed ahead.

The world-building was done so well that I could picture every little detail. When I can feel like I am living in the world, that's when I know I will love a book. There is mild spice, which is a nice little change of pace for me :) Erion, Lora & Zai, these 3 had my heart from the very beginning. They are all strong characters with their own struggles. Erion has that golden retriever energy, Zai some could say he's the villain. He makes some horrible choices. And he had his reasons as to why he did what he did. But deep down he is a good soul once he finally realizes who is truly is. Also, the yearning from this man...ugh!!! had my heart the whole dang time. Lora what a strong FMC she is. Always putting others before herself no matter where they come from. Putting aside her doubts and trauma to help people when they are in need. Love her! But when the 3 of these characters are together watch out. So much yearning. And I loved every second of it. Zai and Lora's inner thoughts about each other had me laughing out loud and blushing at the same time.
The supporting characters all add their own little pieces into the story and help bring along the rest of the banter. Kestrel, I have to say is one of my most favorite characters of the story. He is the absolutely hilarious babbling buffoon and had me cracking up anytime he was on the page.
BUT THAT DANG CLIFFHANGER....AHHHHHH!!!! Had me screaming for more!!
