I was completely sucked into this audiobook from the very first chapter! Dani is a strong FMC who is no damsel in distress, Calet is the ride or die best friend everyone needs, and Nihil is the respectful shadow daddy we all love to see. The witty banter, intriguing characters, unexpected plot twists, and emotional themes of grief and healing kept me invested throughout.
The voice actors matched the characters perfectly and brought the story to life exactly as I imagined. This was such an entertaining listen, and I cannot wait to get my hands on Book 2!
