I’ve been wanting to continue on with this series since finishing (and loving) 𝘎𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥, book 1, a few years ago. I still haven’t had a chance to read book 2, but found I had no issue jumping right into this one.
This was a spicy spicy book. Very sex/kink positive, with one experienced character, and one just starting out.
I loved that these two kind of flipped the script on the “typical” dom/sub roles, with the older/“larger” of the two being the sub, and the younger/“smaller” being the dom.
They both definitely felt a connection very early on, but kinda sort of fought it, especially Laurie, the older of the two, who fought his feelings for a long time…
The spicy moments were good, but I loved all their cute emotional/bonding moments, too. It was nice seeing how they supported one another in their different ways.
Audiobook notes: Shane East is an all-time fave of mine, so I was so excited to hear him in this one. Kishore Walker was new to me, but I thought he was just the perfect voice for Toby! A great audiobook production.
