Book: The Pythonist by Loren Little

Loren had sent me the ARC for this so long ago and I’m glad it was finally time to read it. It was highly entertaining and had a macabre feel to it that kept me intrigued.
The FMC was a spooky little thing and I really loved her. Her mind, soul and spirit had a dark shroud over it that only ended up making her more endearing. As the story goes on, you learn all the things she has been through and has sacrificed for everyone else, except herself. And a lot of the time, at a detriment TO herself.
The MMC was obsessed with Cathleen “Catty” in the most disastrous, and slightly unhealthy, way. She was the only thing that mattered and he didn’t care who he had to fight to be with her. Even Daemons and a haunted ghostly Manor.
I loved the dark, gothic setting and the paranormal themed plot. Give me ghosts/demons/angels and I am here for it. This was that mixed with a bit of mystery, suspense and an abundance of spice. Maybe a little taboo thrown in there as well 👀
This was my first book by this author and I’m interested to read more!
✨Thank you Loren Little for the early eARC copy!
