I basically stopped caring about finishing reading this after they found the child murdered by one of the main characters. But I wanted to know what happened because I was over 60% done, so I kept on. The ending was nothing like I thought and actually kinda maybe redeemed the killer just a tiny bit? I mean he has no soul, but the kid couldn't have just been at friends? Anyway, half of this story doesnt really involve the Carnaval, but it dose give a backstory to how they become up a part of it.
I received this Pre-release Copy as part of The Colony Carnaval reader team. My honest review is posted voluntarily.
