Well, Detective Ryan sure does have a lot going on! First, they lose a court case that he is lead detective on against a crime boss. Then, his boss transfers him to a beach town in its off season due to the embarrassment of the loss but to also keep him off the radar of said crime boss. Being in Barton was supposed to be easy. Yet, trouble seemed to follow him there. Drugs, murders, a foot washed up on the beach, and a cold case! A solid beginning to the Detective Ryan series! I like it and am looking forward to the next book in the series, All or None. 5 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
