Am I weird for LOVING a long book? Maybe. But this book 100% needed to be as long as it did and I devoured every minute of it.

Rhodes and Theo’s story was absolutely amazing, and it had me on my toes at times, and almost in tears other times. The way that they were able to be there for eachother when they needed it most really showed how much they loved each other before they were willing to admit it.
I loved the tension and the SPICE. I am a big proponent of longer spice scenes, and this book delivered. I love having one spicy scene go over a few chapters and sometimes switching POV in the middle. A Winchester did a phenomenal job of this.
I think this book really helped me get back into the groove of reading again, and I would highly recommend to anybody wanting a good sports romance with a broody best friends brother and a precious golden retriever running back.
P.S. reading ‘Halloween Fumble’ before this enhances this experience so much more! It showed exactly how it all starts and adds a level of backstory that I felt helped a lot.
