This was a delicious hate to love story with some twisty family dynamics that I absolutely ate up. Mace and Cassia were associates who lived to antagonize each other but the heat was always there. She really didn't like him though. He was untouchable and too perfect and she wanted to see him taken down a peg. And then... well... she needed his protection. Mmm forced proximity. As they dance around each other, dealing with his AWFUL family and her past they try to figure out how to coexist and deal with their new normal. It's a fantastic book, lots of twists, and I love their dynamic. He's all grrrrr and she's a very smart mouthed brat. It's got all my favorite bits. Give me more! More!
