Thank you to Gay Romance Reviews and Blane Bellamy for the ARC — this review is my honest opinion.
Tropes: Stepbrother Romance, Enemies to Lovers, Hurt/Comfort, Found Family
Silent Damage is the second book in the Bad Boys of Belmont series. The story focuses primarily on Jason and Gabe as its main characters. At one time, they were best friends, however, an event related to their parents turned them into enemies. Jason became Gabe's stepbrother when his father married Gabe's mother.
This book turned out to be really good. The chemistry between Jason and Gabe was amazing. Even when they were upset with one another, it was clear just how much they truly cared about each other. They shared an intense and somewhat beautiful love. This book explores some difficult and emotionally heavy topics. Jason and Gabe had such a heartbreaking backstory. It was pretty dark, but there were still some funny moments. The spice in this book was HOT! It's an awesome stepbrother MM story. This is a must read.
