Faking it Next Door was a cute, short, steamy read. I enjoyed myself, but did find that I wanted more. More depth to the characters and their relationship, just more substance in general. I found it hard to enjoy steamy scenes at first because it felt a little like strangers hooking up. Like they haven't seen each other in many years, and are strangers at this point, I needed more buildup. I did enjoy Hemingway and the gossip mill. The concept of this town is good, but it just needs a bit more detail.
