So... Where do I begin? Not gonna lie, the whole taboo trope in this story threw me. I had no idea how I felt about it in the beginning and really questioned where this story was going... But holy cow! Once the bullets started flying and the knives started slashing, I was hooked!
You knew there were going to be some underlying stories and mysteries going on in this book, but I had no idea where on earth it was going to end up. And when I got to an extremely anxiety inducing part of the book, I found myself begging for all of the characters to make through. Kayla Kyng had this crazy way of making me question the story, and then by the end of it I was so completely attached to the MMCs that I shocked myself! And don’t even get me started on the bomb dropped at the end of the book!!! Not to mention the FMC, who is so totally NOT what you expected!! Q, X, Y, Z - Loved all of the MCs, especially their supporting characters, Mercy and Envy have got to be my faves!!
I smashed this out in a day and ended up loving every minute of it, I am so glad I signed up for this one.
