Thank you thank you thank you Reaghan for the ALC!! I had been wanting to read this book for a while but decided to wait for the audio…..I am glad I waited for the auto but also not glad because I have been sitting on this amazing book!!
I did this as an immersive read and HIGHLY recommend doing it that way!! This audiobook is done duet style by a FULL CAST!! Dani Solleil, Ash Beverly, Noah Trent, Payton Briggs Anderson, and Luke James doing such an amazing job on the audio bringing so much emotion and depth to the characters. Having the multicast really kept me immersed and they do such an amazing job with the accents of all the different characters.
I absolutely love a dark academia book and this did not disappoint. I could not put it down….I finished it in less than 24 hours!! There is so much tension and yearning in this book but also some fast love as well. I will also say at this point I am team Gavrail. I have to say I loved the spin on the elemental magick done in the book it makes it stand out and not feel like every other Romantasy book. And I have so many questions after that ending 👀👀👀. I need book two like yesterday!! I have a feeling not everyone seems to be who we think they are….i feel like there is still a lot of secrets to uncover.
