ARC Review
This book was like if Mulan and HP had a baby. A girl goes undercover at an all-boys war college and has to beef up her muscles and mental abilities despite her chronic pain. But that isn’t the only secret she’s keeping hidden. There’s a veryyy slow burn that will hopefully pay off in book 2, as well as a potential why-choose moment. LGBTQ+ friendly and full of funny moments woven throughout the story.
A good read for people who like forced proximity, forced separation, brutal war college vibes with magic system and mystical creatures.
