This was a delightful, cozy story with small-town vibes, second chances, and traumatized 30+ MCs. It was refreshing to read about grown-ups dealing with family and work issues and their life struggles.
I loved Korren. He was such a golden retriever type with a lot of baggage on his shoulders. He'd been through some really bad experiences, and that made me feel so bad for him. He deserved better. And Phil was such a force! I totally get why she was so cold and reserved at first, so I was happy to read about her thawing along the way.
There were so many lovable side characters with lives that were really interconnected. I can't wait to read the next story!
