This book turned out to be completely different from what I had expected. This book was really DARK. Noeul and Chung-Hee are the subjects of this book. Noeul's best friend and brother have both passed away. Chung-Hee's brother, who was Nouel's best friend, passed away. Noeul holds himself responsible for the death of his brother and closest friend. This caused intense depression and sorrow. Chung-Hee feels Nouel is at fault and is struggling with the grief.
That book hit me hard, it was super intense. Nouel endured a lot. His story was deeply heartbreaking. He didn't deserve all the stuff that went down to him. This story revolves around mental illness, grief, and trauma. I shed many tears while reading this book and felt relieved that the ending was better.
The writer crafted the book beautifully and infused it with so much emotion. I found the story really enjoyable, even though it was dark. This isn't your ordinary love story. The protagonist faced many challenges in the book to achieve his happy ending. I'm happy I was able to read this book and suggest it to anyone who appreciates a unique dark romance.
