I wasn’t sure what to expect with an intro like “a skunk, a tattoo artist, and a man terrified of intimacy walk into a bar…”. Turns out far more than meets the eye. Micah and Maddox are equally broken men who end up on opposite sides of the trauma response coin. Micah is a human ray of sunshine and Maddox doesn’t trust anyone even himself. My heart broke for both of them at various points of the story. I also cheered when Micah did what needed to be done with Arthur.
The smut included a kink I don’t normally see and oh my said in George Takei voice . Princess was a total scene stealer and now I’m wondering if it’s legal to keep skunks as pets in Georgia.
