Although this starts off in the Heath, Daisy is not the girl who left all those months ago and her time away has made her so much stronger. I am thrilled at how far Daisy has come since book one; she has become so more than the labels she has been given and I loved every minute of her journey as she becomes the strong and capable woman she was meant to be.
The secrets the Novelles and the Bandervilles have been hiding finally come to light as the culprits and motivations are revealed. There are still plenty of twists and turns to work through though before Daisy and the guys get their HEA. The devotion the MMCs have for Daisy is one of my favourite elements of the series. Being with them doesn't magically fix Daisy either which I liked and instead they compromise and adapt as a family. Shade may be my favourite of Daisy's guys but I'd love a Sauvage spin off! I never foresaw him becoming my third favourite character but he was fabulous.
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
