First off this has to be the most gorgeous book cover I have ever seen its absolutely stunning 😍! Our FMC is Saorise and she is a powerless witch which is a nice twist and she has various mental health issues and some ptsd and her struggles are well written and she's very relatable as well. The MMC is Vane though hes not as well written as Saorise is he still is a good character though how fast he fell for and was protective of Saorise was a bit to fast I love how he treats her I do but I feel like there should have been a lot more build up and interactions between the two before any romance of feelings took place especially in Saorise's case given that she's deeply traumatized the scenario doesn't fit with her character at all It's something that should have been built up to and happened later on in the story rather than basically right after he saves her from an attack. The type of drama she has is something that takes time to heal from months or years sometimes not 10 seconds after a hot man swoops in to save the day (not like asap but still too soon). I still loved the world building and plot of the story and I love the FMC my only complaint is i wish it was a slower burn romance than the fast pace romance it was.
