This is a collection of short stories revolving around Nariah Boyd, a girl who can see spirits. She has two animal spirits that stay with her; Rena, a sweet little rat, and Sinthisadasa, a nice garter snake. She goes on a blind date with a werewolf, who calls her a "Deathwalker," yet she met a dragon who gives her the moniker, "Bone Witch," which she tells the wolf she prefers(as would I). I don't want to give more away.
I enjoyed this book a lot. It took me a few chapters for me to really get into it. Was a bit of a slow start, to me anyway, but each and every story has action and are not lacking in depth. Once I got into the book it pulled me in and didn't want me to leave. I was left wanting to read more about her and her adventures. This author is going on my keep an eye out for new stuff list. This is a new genre for me and they have left me with a good impression. Hope to see more.
