Rich, lush and delicious.

Book: Dance of the Asuras by N. Patel Baxi

Niya dances and the whole Khoya watches, it's almost like ... magic?

Zehan, the Prince of Hell, is drawn to her and claims her as his chosen and thus begins the Dance of the Asuras.

Rich prose builds a world full of magic, wonder, and sensuality that I could stay in forever.

One of my favorite classic devices come out to play - prophecy and fate versus free will and it does so beautifully. The big G gods and the demi/anti gods and their games are devious and delightful to watch unfold.

I look forward to more from this world, and this author because the writing style made me just ... swoon.
