oh SHOOT. i should say something thematic and i should tie in these two reviews together, but holy freaking crap, i just read the second book in the Bad Decisions duology and I'm losing my mind.
I saw the description and the tropes about it was pay for play, just like with the previous one and I was like ... okay that feels like a reach. How is that possibly going to work for this set up?
that's where the oh SHOOT comes in, because it works, so so well? and, honestly, not only was is blisteringly hot, but parts of this book were so touching? Derek was that alpha male that I tune in for, but he was so much more, and getting to watch his relationship with Wyn (pronounced with a y) sparks and develop and grow?
But also the other relationships in his life? His son. His ex-wife...? I read this book in a day. I again read this book at work. I need to STOP reading Jesse H Reign because because I literally can't do anything else, but I know that's exactly where I'm going next. In fact, I heard there's a new release today...
