This book starts off with some history then jumps forward. It’s nice to have history mixed in with the storyline. After a tragedy, Lavender starts experiencing things she has never experienced. Which sets off a trip with her and her mom to her dad’s hometown. While the welcoming may seem warm and fuzzy ulterior motives are in play. This was such a great book and perfect for middle school to high school levels
