The epic conclusion to this incredible story!
4.5/5 🌟 Thank you Jillian for this ARC!
Ember, Hart, and Charon what a trio! The ending of Jeweler to the Blessed was such an amazing cliffhanger, and Trials of the Cursed picked it up right where we were left off! I loved reading about Ember's struggles, her loss of faith in Hart, their new relationship, and her willingness to do β€œthe right thing,” no matter what. But slowly, she was also finding herself, even while navigating these chaotic waters.
Hart, on the other hand, never stopped being such a lover boy, and his devotion to Ember was divine! Even with Charon in the middle, thinking all kinds of snarky remarks about the Cursed King.
With so many secrets, betrayals, and half-truths to unravel, they had such a difficult time! And then, there was a king to depose and a throne to claim. So many trials to succeed in, and so little time. I really enjoyed their comings and goings as they tried to achieve all their tasks. It was CHAOS all around!
I'd love to know more about Alysa and Reid, Elias and his story.. Hopefully there could be another book about one of them.
It was the perfect ending for the Champions of Chaos duology, and I absolutely recommend this series!
