This was absolutely amazing. I was laughing my ass off between all the spice and suspense!

A baking, masked MMC with as much chaotic energy as the sassy, chronically ill FMC was just... chef's kiss.

Shay was the bookish, slightly morally gray FMC we all secretly relate to, and Calder was everything you could want in a masked MMC. The fact that Shay was just as obsessed with him as we were while refusing to tell her equally chaotic friends made every interaction that much better.

Every chapter had me either giggling, kicking my feet, or desperately needing to know what happened next. My only complaint? I wish there was more, specifically comedy! Being marketed as Dark RomCom it was mostly Dark Romance with a side of comedy.
