I absolutely devoured this! It’s a fast-paced, action-packed fantasy with a fiercely compelling heroine. The world-building is rich, the tournament plot kept me hooked, and the mix of intrigue, magic, and budding romance was a lot of fun.
Celaena’s sharp wit and strength really shine through and I loved the twists that kept things unpredictable. That said, a few pacing dips and some familiar tropes held it back from a full five stars for me. Still, I’m genuinely excited to see how the series unfolds and what bigger mysteries and epic battles lie ahead.
