Lachlan aka Bluey was offered a job to help out at the Wilson Farm by a neighbor, Brian Anderson, to help get it the Wilson Dairy Farm back in order. This is a very slow burn romance that also confronts deep seated feelings of loss. If you have any certain triggers when it comes to grief and loss, read the blurb on the book first. It’s wonderfully written to explain what you’re about to read. The book was good, just not up to my pace for a slow burn.
While this is part of a series, I’ve not read the other ones and read this as a standalone. It can be read as a standalone but you’ll find yourself a tad confused about any backstory for each character as I did.
