A Sherlock Holmes mystery novel that involves horse racing, the beginning of motor vehicles and a missing child. I have never read anything that has Holmes in it but this was a very good and interesting book. I enjoyed it very much. The story is well written and even with all the characters I didn’t get confused with them all. This is the fourth book in the series. I may just have to go and read the others now.
