this book, this book, THIS BOOK.
there are few things I have issues with (and even more things that reading mm romance have awakened me to) so the stepbrothers bit didn't even slow me down. it should have, only because i had no idea that it would be like this.
and this? this I mean one of the best best things I have ever read. Did I put it down? no. Like. I didn't. Sleep? Who's that. Work? Hold please. There has never been a more golden retriever /black cat pair except that each character is so? so much more nuanced than that?
I want to say more because I have feelings and all of them good about the writing, the pacing, and the CHAR-ACT-ER-IZ-ATION (read it like dr. frank n furter, please) but I really don't want to spoil anything.
If there is any chance that you, dear follower, have not somehow read this book - this trilogy - please start now. you won't regret a moment of it. of how swoopy it is, of how tense it can be, of this deep need you feel just for them to be happy...
