OK so I feel this is a specific type of book for a specific reader. I love the general plot line, I loved the monsters and chara ters and the spice they brought with them.
I just found it to be too slow...
The narrators did a really good job, I really understood what was going on and the urgency of each situation. I felt the drama and the tension bleed through their voice and it pulled me into the story.
I could have dnf around 30% into book 1 but stuck it out, book 2 was good and then I've stopped listening now in book 3. It just got so dull I drifted out and away from the story. And didnt feel myself being pulled back into it.
This has really surprised me as I enjoy eva chase books.
