maybe its that time of the month...
that's a werewolf joke. im hilarious.
okay, so, apparently MateHub got me in a mood to check out some more shifter stuff, and while it's hard to follow in the footsteps of that masterpiece, I have to admit that I really enjoyed this. It had a really solid balance of shifter lore - also, I love the fact there's shifters and weres and they're two different things - plus just super steamy wonderful romance in it.
Mash (that's actually his name) I think is someone we can totally resonate with, shying away from some of life's responsibilities for as long as is possible. Cian (think key) is that part of us that wants something for most of their lives, but thinks it's impossible to get.
There are places where Mash is a little problematic, but I think it falls in line with his character, and doesn't take away from the joy of this book. And it is joyful. It's a fun read full of found family and fated love along with finding out where you really fit.
