This was a good historical fantasy read. While it’s the 3rd book of the series I didn’t feel like I was missing anything. The FMC, Rose, shows what true grit and courage can do when faced with adversity and self discovery. It started slow but eventually I got into until the end. An eye opening story to anyone who’s ever struggled to find their way with family and to prove that family isn’t always blood related.
