Book: The Eye of the Bedlam Bride by Matt Dinniman

This series just keeps getting better, and this book hit me harder emotionally than I expected. Hearing Carl’s backstory was absolutely heart wrenching. Every layer peeled back made his resilience and pain feel so real and raw. Then there’s Mordecai and Odette… their history and the weight they carry together broke me in the best way possible. Matt has this incredible talent for making you deeply attached to these characters, so when certain deaths happen (and yes, a few tears were definitely shed especially for Tserendolgor), the impact lands like a punch to the gut.

The pacing is relentless, the stakes are sky-high, and the mix of dark humor, brutal action, and genuine heartbreak is perfectly balanced. You laugh, you rage, you cry, and you keep turning pages because you can’t look away. If you’ve made it this far in Dungeon Crawler Carl, you already know the drill! This one delivers everything you love about the series and then some.

Onward to This Inevitable Ruin. I’m think I'm ready.
