Delicious dark Christmas novella with a masked man chasing our FMC through a winter wonderland. She wakes up dressed as a sugar-plum fairy in a winter wonderland at the Christmas Tree farm, no recollection of how she got there and then she hears him, a deep sultry voice telling her to run. So she does! Will she make it out alive through a maze of trees, candy canes and gingerbread houses? This story wasn't what I expected, but still gave me all the masked man, kidnapping, stalker-ish vibes I wanted. The twist was just chefs kiss, adorable and who wouldn't melt over that level of aftercare. Another perfect addition to my Christmas themed reading.
