This was such a fun read for this long Memorial Day weekend. The vibes were vibing, the spice was spicing, and the twists and turns were curvy!
Everything about Monhegan Island and its residents made me want to go lay on a beach, enjoy an adult beverage, drool as others eat a lobster roll (stupid allergies!) and just enjoy the small-town life. I loved the quirks and closeness of the sixty-eight residents as they adjusted to having Libby in their midst.
I loved the push and pull of the relationship between Fisher and Libby as they navigate through being neighbors, then friends, then something more.
Some of the twists and turns and reveals were a little heavy so read the content note but this was overall a pretty cozy and enjoyable read that made me laugh and giggle and kick my feet as everyone came together - island people and summer people.
