This was such a great slow burn story full of difficult topics. I loved the banter and teasing, and the no-spice yearning where he's already fallen in love and she's in denial. It has high stakes, fairytale vibes, and one bed trope. Fyn is a walking green flag that respects women's choices and puts himself 2nd to her decisions.(What more could you want in a MMC?) Ashlyn is strong willed and lives on spite. (Something I can relate to. 😂) I always love dual POVs, it just makes for a more well rounded story. It's criminal the book ended on such a cliff-hanger. I can't wait for the 2nd book to release!
