A strong FMC that isn't perfect, that fights her own demons while facing a reality she's been tryng to avoid? Elyria is an amazing character and the story is so full of drama and emotion, I'm in need of the next book asap! totally had Hunger Games vibes with the Crucible happening but felt like that was on another level. The magic system in this book was easy to follow and all of the characters were just fantastic. So well written! If you love high fantasy and romance, drama and suspense all in one place, this is your book.

Great way to refresh my memory of this book. Personally, I feel the male VA wasn't what I thought Cedric would sound like but, otherwise, it was good to hear the interpretation of this book. Looking forward to moving onto Splintered Kingdom!
