A romance novella where Eliza, a young divorcee, finds herself inventing a fake boyfriend in order to appease her co-workers need for gossip. When she's told to bring him to Friday night karaoke, Luke the new guy at work steps up to pretend he's her boyfriend. Of course the #1 rule of fake dating is no catching feelings, and when HR get involved things get complicated. But who can resist when your fake date is such a sweetheart?
This was a lovely romance read and very relatable to anyone who has ever worked in a gossipy office!
Thank you to Tristen and Booksprout for the ARC, my opinions are my own.
