I absolutely loved See You Next Fall, the first book in Annabelle McCormack’s Wanderlust series!
Elle and Quinn’s relationship gave me everything I want from a slow-burn, friends-to-lovers romance. Their connection develops gradually, but the emotional tension keeps building until you are desperate for them to finally admit what is happening between them.
There were parts where I was genuinely holding my breath. I never knew what was going to happen next, and one particular character received some major side-eye from me throughout the story!
I did an immersion read with the Kindle edition and audiobook together, and I highly recommend experiencing it that way. Elizabeth Grace’s narration made the emotional and suspenseful moments even more intense. Her character voices were wonderfully distinct, making every conversation feel vivid and real.
This was definitely a slow burn, but the journey and payoff were completely worth it. Emotional, unpredictable, romantic, and beautifully narrated!
